How the Online Course Works
| 1. | First, register for the course by clicking Signup Now and begin the very simple registration process. As you register, you will be asked to select your county. If your county isn’t listed, then please check with your court to see if it will accept our course. |
| 2. | If you need assistance while registering, don’t worry – live phone support is standing by. |
| 3. | You may log onto our site anytime from anywhere. You may take as long as you like to complete the course and you may exit and re-enter the course as often as you like! If you are in a hurry, you may complete the entire course the day you start it or, if you prefer, you can spread your learning experience over a longer period of time. |
| 4. | Taking the final exam is simple and easy. Just follow the instructions in the course. In some counties courts require identity verification. You will have the option of using Acxiom FactCheck*, Approved Testing Center or Local Notary Public. To get a list of those counties click here. |
| 5. | Some courts allow for us to send the completion certificate directly to the court on your behalf, while other courts require the student to turn in his or her own certificate. If you must turn in your own certificate, Affordable Home study will send the certificate directly to the address you specified during the registration process. Once you receive your certificate, you will need to promptly forward it to your court by your due date. If you need your certificate fast, we offer premium deliveries services on certificates. |
How the Workbook Course Works
| 1. | First, order the workbook course by clicking the purchase workbook button and begin the very simple registration process. . As you register, you will be asked to select your county. If your county isn’t listed, then please check with your court to see if it will accept our course. |
| 2. | It will take you a few moments to order the workbook. You can order the workbook Online or Call us. |
| 3. | Once payment is made, we will send you the workbook course, exams, instructions, and related materials. |
| 4. | The program is an open book format, meaning you can review all course material while answering quizzes and final exam questions. If you were to answer a quiz question incorrectly, or fail the final exam, it’s no problem. You may re-answer any questions or even take the entire final exam over again with no penalty. |
