2: How do I start a course?
To start the course, all you need to do click on the "Signup Now" button. You will be guided through the simple signup process. And please have your driver's license and your traffic ticket or citation with you. Some courts and states require information from those documents to be entered during the sign up process.
During the signup process you will also create your password. Please make note of this information since you might need it later when you log back onto the course.

4: How long will it take me to complete the California Traffic School course?
As individuals vary, so does the time it will take any one student to complete if you received your citation in most California counties. While the course is a court-approved equivalent of an 8-hour classroom traffic school class, most courts allow online programs to be self-paced. Some students whip through our web traffic school program in a couple of hours, others choose to log on and off over the course of a couple of days.

9: Can I get an extension to complete Traffic School?
Courts generally grant extensions when they are requested before the due date. You will need to write, call or go to the Clerk of Court to request an extension. If you wait until after the due date you may have to make a court appearance and ask the judge for an extension.

10: What happens if I forget my password?
Your password can be found on the Confirmation of Registration email that was sent to you when you registered. You may also retrieve your password by referring to the Returning Students box on the home page, entering your driver's license number and clicking on the Forgot Your Password link. Your password will be emailed to you.

12: Is your California Online Traffic School Course approved by the California Courts?
We are approved by most courts in California. By registering online you can determine our approval within your county court district. Or you can also check your court or state's list of approved home study providers.

13: How often can I take traffic school?
The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) allows drivers to take traffic school only once within 18 month period unless ordered by judge or if special circumstances exist.

17: How long will it take for me to finish your course?
it usually takes the average reader 4 to 6 hours to complete the course. It could take more or less time depending on the speed of the reader.
In addition, because you do study on your own schedule, you'll find the course goes by much faster than if you were sitting in a traditional classroom. Our course is designed to be easy-to-follow with short lessons and engaging animations.

18: What options do I have for my certificate delivery?
Same day certificate processing is valid when you complete the course by 2pm (PST) on regular business days Monday through Friday excluding holidays. If you complete the course after 2pm (PST) or on a weekend or holiday, your certificate will be mailed the following business day. To ensure you receive your certificate on time, we recommend completing the course at least 10 days prior to your due date.
We always offer FREE standard shipping through the US Post Office. Standard mail usually takes 1 to 3 days depending on the destination. However, if you need express delivery, we have low priced options including:

In addition, some courts require that your Certificate of Completion be sent directly to the court. Other courts require it to be faxed, mailed or emailed. When you register you will be notified of a required certificate delivery.

Each state or court has specific requirements for the processing of certificates. In most cases, we send the certificate directly to the student.

Expiration and Refund Information
20: Will my course expire?
Yes. You have 180 days after registration to complete your course. After 180 days, your registration will no longer be considered active.

21: What is your cancellation/refund policy?
We want to make sure you are completely satisfied so we offer a 100% money-back guarantee. You must request the refund prior to taking the course's final exam. Refund will be credited in the same form as the original payment type. Only the same credit card you used to purchase the course can be used for your refund.
Refunds are issued within 30 days of the effective date of termination. If you have not successfully completed the course within 180 days, your registration will be cancelled automatically and you will not be eligible for a refund.
If you are thinking of requesting a refund because you feel you will be unable to complete the course before your due date, you may want to contact your court to see about an extension before giving up. Remember that we have express delivery options and many courts will accept postmarks as completion proof or offer grace periods.

22: Are there any special computer or download requirements to participate in the course?
Two things we recommend.
1. Some computers may require a standard download of Adobe Flash but most computers are already equipped with this software.
2. Cookies and JavaScript must be enabled
That however is the only requirements. Since our course in 100% online, we maintain all the course materials on our website. That includes the progress and status of your test. That allows you to logon to any computer that is connected to the Internet to take your course.
